This weekend was maintenance and decorating weekend at the home. All the children get involved with the planning including the choice of colours etc and they also get to choose what they want to do and what teams they want to work in. They are on school break so during the mornings they have activities but in the afternoons they have extra lessons in life skills etc and in the evenings it is study time. Their days are very full.
These are some pictures of the day. I am very proud of them. And they are proud of their homes. When children are encouraged to care for and maintain and decorate the homes they live in, then they also take care not to destroy their homes and appreciate what they have.
Thought I would share a day with you in the lives of my children and I. Every single aspect of their day .. and their lives ... is organized by me .. even from this distance, including the purchase of every item.
